| Hanukkah stamp for 2002 A Hanukkah stamp will be available again this year. After the first-class postage rate hike June 30, the U.S. Postal Service will revalue and reissue the original Hanukkah stamp at the new 37¢ rate. Since Hanukkah is early this year, beginning the evening after Thanksgiving, it is hoped that the USPS will release the stamp a little earlier than the usual mid-October period. No release date has been announced. The original Hanukkah stamp has been reissued every year since its first appearance in 1996. Ask your local post office to order 2002 Hanukkah stamps early and offer them as soon as they are available.
