The community is invited to attend an "Insider's Briefing" on current issues facing Israel with Rabbi Michael Marmur, dean of the Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem, Friday and Saturday, June 7-8, at 8500 Hillcrest Road. Marmur, a resident of Jerusalem, has just completed a tour of military duty in the Israeli army.

As this year's Rabbi Levi A. Olan Memorial Scholar, Marmur delivers the sermon Friday, June 7, at the 7:30 p.m. Shabbat evening service in the Sanctuary. The following morning, he teaches the Bea Kabler Torah Study session at 9 a.m. and delivers the d'var Torah during Shabbat morning services at 10:30 a.m. in Lefkowitz Chapel.
